Renovation of a municipal facility in Manila, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
UTE Look Tower Reroof This project consists of the reroofing of the historic UTE Tower on the Ashley National Forest. Work includes removing and disposing of the existing cedar wood shingle roofing system while keeping the existing plywood sheathing. Remove and reinstall the lightning protection rod, lightning protection cables across the roof, clamps and fasteners across the roof, and all roof appurtenances. Install a multi-width synthetic cedar shingle roofing system as specified, including matching synthetic cedar ridge caps on each of the four ridges. Install roofing felt and self-adhering ice shield underlayment over the entire roof, flashing, synthetic shingles, synthetic ridge caps, and all necessary fasteners and accessories. Flashing must be galvanized steel, no sheen, mill finish. Metal work includes fabricating and installing a matching stove pipe sleeved flashing piece to match existing material and dimensions, and within that new sleeved flashing piece, reinstall the salvaged stove pipe with flashing to match. Period of Performance: 09/01/2026 to 11/30/2026 . Questions shall be submitted via email to Terri.Tucker@usda.gov and are due no later than July 29th, 2026, at 1700 PM MT.
