Site work and renovation of a retail development in Urbandale, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a retail development; and for site work for a retail development.
Design services for the renovation of a building to serve as a retail ice cream shop. PROJECT DESCRIPTION / SCOPE The building at 7025 Douglas Avenue was constructed in 1960. Since its' construction the facility has been a seasonal operation requiring winterization. The intent of this design is to transform the approximately 972 square foot facility into a year-round operation and adapt the building to add to the downtown revitalization; therefore, preserve the history and look of the building; the building it will be a comprehensive remodel including but not limited to Interior demolition, concrete repair/patching, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, mechanical, interior and exterior finishes, openings, outdoor spaces, lighting, trash enclosure and roofing. It is not anticipated that the footprint of the facility would change. All improvements to meet current applicable codes as well as City of Urbandale amendments. The construction budget is $400,000.
