SCOPE OF WORK: In accordance with the requirements of this Section, the CONTRACTOR shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor tools and incidentals necessary to jack or bore by mechanical means a cased crossing at the location or locations specified on the Construction Drawings or as directed by the ENGINEER. The work shall consist of all operations required to install casement pipe of adequate size to hold the specified diameter of PVC water main to the line and grade established by the ENGINEER or as specified by a permit approved or issued by the railroad company, State Highway Department or other public authority having jurisdiction over the work. Methods and materials specified herein represent minimum standards only. All methods and material shall conform to the requirements of the Highway Department, the railroad, or other OWNER.
