The Proponent shall furnish all equipment, supplies and labor necessary to provide landfill gas (LFG) system improvements for Clayton County, Georgia at the Clayton County Site #3 Landfill, located at 11678 Hastings Bridge Road , Hampton, GA 30228. The services to be performed must consist of supplying all supervision , labor, materials, supplies, transportation and all equipment necessary for the installation of dual phase (landfill gas and leachate) extraction well pumps and ancillary piping networks in the Site #3 LFG extraction system as detailed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner Clayton County owns and operates the Site #3 Landfill , which is open and actively receiving municipal solid waste. Inactive areas of the Site #3 Landfill have an intermediate soil cover in place consisting of a minimum of 12 inches of soil. Active areas of the Site #3 Landfill (those actively receiving/disposing municipal solid waste) may have 6 inches of daily cover soil , or no cover. Proponent personnel and equipment shall exercise extra caution when working in these areas. The active areas of the Site #3 Landfill may change over the duration of the work, and the Proponent will be responsible for coordinating with the County each day to understand what areas of the Site #3 Landfill are active that day. There are 15 landfill gas extraction wells installed in the Site #3 Landfill (EW-3.1 through EW-3.15), both in active and inactive areas. Clayton County will not be responsible for any damage to the Proponent's equipment while in operation on County property or staged on County property. Proponent will be responsible for their team's personal safety while performing the scope of services on County property. Proponent shall identify one (1 ) Key Staff/Project Manager for contact regarding the coordination of this project. Proponent may not delegate any of its obligations under the Contract without prior written approval by Clayton County. If Proponent impacts or causes damage to any above-ground or subsurface infrastructure during execution of the work, they must immediately stop work and notify the County Landfill Manager. The County will not be responsible for the cost of any downtime experienced by the Proponent as the result of hitting infrastructure. County reserves the right to bill and hold responsible the Proponent for cost of repair to damaged infrastructure. Depending on the nature of the repair, County reserves the right to contract repair work to a qualified vendor; however, may also give the Proponent an opportunity to provide a cost estimate.
