The scope of work includes building and structure demolition and abatement at the former Hopkinton Center School as indicated on the Drawings and as specified herein including the following: The historic front portion of Center School (circa 1928) shall be maintained intact and hazardous materials including ACM will be abated . This 1928 portion of structure is to be preserved and is scheduled for renovation under a subsequent contract. Demolition and legal removal and disposal of the two (2) back structures of Center School (circa 1950s and circa 1980s) of Center School and hazardous materials including ACM will be abated. Removal and legal disposal of demolished materials off site including hazardous materials and ACM. Disconnecting, capping or sealing, and removing of all other site utilities as indicated. Filling and backfilling of below-grade areas and restoration of the site, as indicated. Alternate No. 1 (Add Alternate# 1) : Refer to Section 01 23 00, ALTERNATES.
