Renovation of a municipal facility in Denver, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The State of Colorado, Department of Personnel & Administration (DPA), is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the Elevator Modernization at the Capitol Annex Renovation project. The scope of that renovation work excluded modernization to the elevators due to project and budgetary constraints. However, funds have now been made available for a full modernization of the vertical transportation systems necessary to comply with current Elevator Safety Code Requirements and prevent continued deterioration of the systems, causing major interruptions to service. If the construction value is $50,000 or greater a Bid Bond and Power of Attorney or Proposal Guaranty is required in an amount not less than 5% of the total Bid. If a contract amounts to $150,000 or more, the awarded contractor shall provide payment and performance bonds not less than 50% of the value of the contract.
