Modernization and upgrades of elevators at the Denver Fire Department Headquarters. The Project involves modernization and upgrade of the hydraulic elevator serving the DFD HQ. Modernization is necessary to ensure continued reliability, safety, code compliance, and integration with building systems. Upgrades will address fire system integration, electrical improvements, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, 2022 code requirements, hydraulic power unit modernization, and associated components. Scope of Work Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, staging, hoisting, transportation, and supervision necessary for modernization of the existing hydraulic passenger elevator. This includes work related to machine room equipment, hydraulic power unit replacement, control system upgrades, hoistway and pit equipment updates, door equipment and signal fixtures, code-required communication systems, and testing and commissioning. Additional technical details are defined in Attachment B - Lerch Bates Hydraulic Passenger Elevator Modernization specification (02/26/2026).
