Zeman Road, beginning 10 feet north of the snowmobile crossing at the intersection of Zeman and STH 70, then continuing north for 760 feet total, consisting of 410 feet + 175 feet + 175 feet. Scope of Work 1. Mobilization. 2. Traffic control. 3. Pulverize the existing roadway full width and full depth. 4. Salvage pulverized material from Sections 1 and 3 to a depth of 6 inches, stockpile it temporarily in Section 2, and reuse it as the initial layer of base course after geogrid placement. 5. In Sections 1 and 3, excavate the roadway an additional 4 inches after pulverization and remove the excess material. Work shall include excavation, grading, and compaction of the subgrade prior to geogrid installation. 6. Furnish and install GSI HX 5.5 geogrid or approved equivalent: Section 1 : 410 feet x 25 feet wide. Section 3: 175 feet x 25 feet wide. 7. Furnish, haul, place, and compact a 2-inch-thick average compacted layer of 1-1/4-inch crushed aggregate base course on top of the salvaged base course or pulverized material in Sections 1 , 2, and 3. 8. Final grade and compact roadway prior to paving. 9. Furnish, haul , place, and compact a 2-1/4-inch average compacted thickness of 4LT 58- 28 hot mix asphalt surface, 20 feet wide, with 100-foot taper to 23 feet wide at STH 70 intersection. 10. Furnish, haul , place, and compact road gravel to construct a 3-foot-wide shoulder with a 2:1 taper. 11. Construct 1 gravel entrance. 12. Sawcut 2" deep pavement butt joints.
