Demolition, site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Livonia, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Removal and installation of fence at Greenmead Historical Park. Project Scope Bid submission must include total work time needed to complete project, including any prep time. All required permits, licenses, inspections, approvals and fees for installation and demolition work shall be secured, submitted , and paid for by the contractor, to any and all agencies. All work shall conform to all applicable codes, rules, and regulations. Each contractor is responsible for taking their own measurements. Contractor must provide all equipment and personnel necessary to perform the required services. Contractor is responsible to haul away refuse materials Contractor is responsible for any damage to grounds, landscaping , trees, utilities, etc. Contractor must work around scheduled special events, festivals, and rentals. Contractor must keep work site safe and tidy. Project shall include but not limited to: Removal of all metal t-posts and wire mesh fence along Newburgh Road, north from the main entrance gate to the tree line, south from the main entrance gate to the tree line, and south of the tree line to the entrance of the special events parking lot. (See photo below). Install ground-contact rated pressure treated pine or cedar wooden posts, with a minimum diameter of 4", every 8', buried to the frost line. Gravel shall be placed at the bottom of the post hole for drainage. Posts that are set in unstable soil shall be set in concrete. The fence line must tie into the existing tube gate at the main entrance, meeting the gate posts cleanly and securely. Running north from the main entrance, the fence will end shortly before the tree line, allowing for space for a riding lawn mower to have access to the right of way. Running south from the main entrance, the fence will end near or at the tree line. Continuing south from the tree line, the fence will end near the driveway to the special events parking lot. Termination posts shall be set in concrete. An inline brace post set shall be used at the ends of the run . End assembly kits shall be included if necessary for the success and longevity of this project. Fence runs must include at least one mid-run brace to prevent sagging. Installation of heavy-duty galvanized woven wire (12.5-gauge or 14-gauge) with field fence appearance, 6 inch vertical stays, 48" high . Wire shall be tensioned uniformly and stapled to the face of the posts using galvanized fencing staples. A tension wire along the top and bottom of the fence shall be installed to prevent sagging. Seal all ends of wooden posts with an appropriate finish to promote longevity of the materials. Clip and bend all wire ends or otherwise secure to avoid injury or snagging. Fence shall follow existing fence line and grade. The contractor's quote shall include all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidental items necessary for a complete and fully functional installation, whether specifically detailed in these specifications or required by accepted industry standards. Snow fencing is attached to this fence during the winter months. Any additional recommendations to promote the longevity of the fence may be included with your quote.
