The configuration will be one (1 ) 28.5 MVA transformer, (1) 46.7 MVA transformer with transformer protection on the 138 kV side protected by a S&C Model 2010 Circuit Switcher, with six (6) distribution feeders, coupled with two (2) 15 kV totalizing breakers for low side protection on the operating bus and one ( 1) tie breaker on the operating bus. The 15 kV distribution bus will feature six (6) distribution circuit bays, three (3) per transformer, with a bus tie breaker between transformer bays. The six (6) distribution circuits can be served from the substation, with the single transformer capable of feeding the entire length of the bus. Additionally, a main and transfer bus will be provided for the flexibility to feed any distribution circuit temporarily, should it be necessary for normal maintenance and/or emergency feed conditions. Adjacent to the new COCS Northwest Road Substation, a new Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU) 138 kV/12.5 substation will be built. The BTU substation will provide the COCS 138 kV bus looped sourcing from two (2) 138 kV transmission line connection points, as shown in the drawings. One (1) self-contained, site-built control enclosure will be installed to house the City of College Station (COCS) equipment. The shelter will house relay/communication panels, DC battery bank, and termination points for equipment control and relay wiring. An overhead 50 kVA transformer will provide underground secondary 120/240V station service and a standby generator with an automatic transfer switch will provide emergency power.
