The purpose of this project is to provide improved access to the Pybus South Parking Lot necessary to accommodate Electric Vehicle Chargers (EVC) provided through funding by Washington's Climate Commitment Act and grading the entire site to final subgrade elevations along Worthen Street south of Orondo Street. This construction provides the underground utility preparation for the electric charging units that the city has obtained and for future site development phases. The major items of work include: clearing and grubbing, removal of structures and obstructions, roadway excavation and haul, cement concrete curb, sidewalk, placing and shaping crushed surfacing base; and constructing hot mix asphalt pavement; signing; bollards, pavement marking; and other Work. The Electrical Utility preparation includes installation of Chelan PUD primary electrical line extension installation including two 575 Vaults that are for 480V 3 Phase transformer and placing PUD conduit and the purchasing of 1200A Switchboard compatible with PUD metering and purchasing 600A Panel board cabinet and installing interconnecting conduits with wire and preparing foundations for EVC installed by others. Preparing a 120V lighting control cabinet for future parking lot lighting.
