Demolition, site work and addition to a parking garage in Lansing, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a parking garage; for the demolition of a parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.
This project titled Memorial Jr. High School Storage Garage Addition consists of the following major elements: 1 . Site work and site infrastructure work; 2. One story building addition to the existing storage garage; 3. All other work indicated on the drawings and in the project manual for this project. B. All work on this project will be awarded to one Prime Contractor. Any asbestos abatement work in existing construction will be performed by a separate abatement contractor under the direction of the Owner's consultant as listed above. All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid bond in a form acceptable to the school board , cashiers check, or certified check made payable to School District 158 in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted , a contract shall be entered into and the performance of the contract is properly secured . The successful Bidder of the construction of the improvement will be required to file a performance and payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract, The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or bids.
