Remodeling of an educational facility in Lansing, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
This project titled "Reavis Elementary School Main Office Upgrades" consists of the fo lowing major elements: 1. Interior demolition and remodeling; 2. All other work indicated on the drawings and in the project manual for this project. Sealed bids are requested for Reavis Elementary School Main Office Upgrades under Bid Package 1 - Carpentry and General Construction. Bids must be submitted on provided forms and include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total proposal. All employees on construction work must be paid prevailing wages as determined by the Department of Labor and the Illinois Preference Act. The successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract. Sufficient insurance or guaranty of indemnity to the school district for claims arising from negligence during construction is required. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Access to drawings and specifications is available electronically from the Architect's office. The Architect may refuse to issue documents to unqualified bidders.
