Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Lansing, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project includes construction of a new six lane running track, new high jump and long jump facilities, new track lighting, new fencing, grading work, storm sewer and stormwater management facilities, and landscape restoration. A Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the Sunnybrook School District for not less than ten percent of the total bid amount will be required for each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for the total Contract Amount, and execute AIA Form A101 - 2017 as the contract. All work performed under this Contract must comply with the current provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act of the Illinois Revised Statutes. Only bids in compliance with the provisions of the Bid Documents will be considered. Bids will be considered firm for ninety days. The Sunnybrook School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions of bids/portions of work and to waive any technicalities in the bidding if it should be deemed in the public interest. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids. Successful contract bidders are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
