Renovation of an educational facility in Lansing, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed proposals are invited for RTU Replacement – Phase 1 at Thornton Fractional South High School for Thornton Fractional High School District #215 Calumet City, Illinois. All bid proposals must include formal shop drawing submittals from the unit manufacturer intended for use. Any bid proposal without the RTU shop drawing submittal will be discarded. Contractors must register with the Architect, complete a bidder information form, and provide an A.I.A. Document A-305 (Contractor Qualification Statement) specifically for this project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for no less than 10% of the total bid amount as a guarantee. A 100% Performance Bond and a Labor/Material Bond will be required of the successful bidder, written by a Surety approved by the Owner. Not less than the prevailing wage must be paid for labor. The successful bidder must comply with all State of Illinois and federal public work project laws and the Illinois Human Rights Act. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities, and award the bid in the manner that best serves their interest.
