Renovation of a military facility in Augusta, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Design facility improvements to the CST Armory at Fort Custer in Augusta, Michigan. The purpose of the building is to train soldiers during weekends, food preparation for weekend soldiers, classes for civilians and soldiers, storage of unit equipment, minor maintenance of unit equipment and administration during weekdays by full-time soldiers. Modifications to the armory will include: o Addition for a supply room- to include a vault, office, and unit cages o Remodel of the men's and women's latrines, showers, and locker room o Remodel area for a lactation room o Upgrade existing windows and interior sills o Electrical upgrades required for new addition/renovation work o Fire suppression system upgrades for addition/renovation work o Updated existing lighting to LED o Site work to include relocation of fencing and utilities as needed o Replace original mechanical units (end of life) o Replace/new whole building DDC controls for HVAC o Indoor Air Quality improvements (IDIQ), including new units for addition. o Remodel of existing office space o Modify/replace fire alarm system o Complete design of new motor vehicle storage building (MVSB). Alternate o Parking lot relocation for new MVSB, MIL and POV.
