Site work and renovation of a civil project in Hyde Park, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
Replacement and upgrade of existing culverts on Houle Road and Garfield Road at the outlet of Collins Pond, and drainage improvements along a section of Diggins Road. The Town of Hyde Park (Town) seeks to retain the services of a general Contractor (Contractor), for 1) replacement and upgrade of an existing culvert on Houle Road, 2) replacement and upgrade of an existing culvert at Garfield Road at the outlet of Collins Pond, and 3) drainage improvements along a section of Diggins Road. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid/ Request for Bids (RFB) is to solicit proposals and to establish a contract for the purchase of these services and to comply with FEMA and Town of Hyde Park requirements for funding. Davis Bacon wage rates are required. This invitation sets forth the instructions for submitting proposals, the procedure, and criteria by which the Town will select one Contractor, and the contractual terms by which the Town proposes to govern the relationship between itself and the selected Contractor. This RFB, with any negotiated amendments, describes the full scope and nature of the services the Contractor shall provide.
