The City of Fort Saskatchewan is seeking a qualified contractor to install approximately 182 meters of 6' high chain link fence, three (3) man gates and two (2) power gates for vehicle access. Documents can be obtained from https://fortsask.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/109372 Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and this Contract, the Scope of Works shall include: o o Supply and install two (2) replacement horizontal gate system and operators, place gate operators onto pads and anchor in place. All electrical work assocaited with the sliding gates is to be included . Features of gate system could include (options requested): Heat reflectors, sensors and motors - if required - Programmable (remotely if possible) normal automatic open/close timers Ability to add holiday (one full calendar year) closures and one time event openings on closure days Brake beam Greasable rollers and wheels Warning/beacon and reflective material to ensure visibility Automatic exit opening after normal working hours Propose options for remote adjustment or operation (ie: Phone App/Computer) Slide Gate Operator to be LiftMaster INSL24UL or approved equal Supply and install access control system for both sliding gates and two (2) man gates. Work includes conduit, wiring , power, access readers, connections to existing access control system at fire hall , commissioning and any other work associated with an operational access control system. The city uses the Lenel System for acess control . The city's preferred contractor for access control is GDI Ainsworth.
