The North Spring Street Improvements, Phase 1 Project Includes Water Main and Service Replacement, Installation of Fire Hydrants, Sanitary Sewer Replacement, and Sanitary Sewer Manhole Repair/Replacement. Each Bidder is Required to Furnish With Its Proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in Accordance With Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Security Furnished in Bond Form Shall Be Issued by a Surety Company or Corporation Licensed in the State of Ohio to Provide Said Surety. The Successful Bidder Must Replace the Bid Guaranty With a One-hundred Percent Performance Bond Upon Award of the Bid. The Owner Intends and Requires That This Project Be Completed No Later Than May 31, 2027. The Contractor Shall Pay Wages to Laborers and Mechanics at a Rate Not Less Than the Minimum Wages in Accordance With the Prevailing Wage Schedules Published by the Ohio Bureau of Wage & Hour Administration, Effective During the Period of the Contract, as Provided for in Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. Question deadline is 9/25/2026 at 4pm. Questions received after this time will not be answered. No Bidder May Withdraw Their Bid Within Sixty (60) Days of the Actual Date of the Bid Opening Thereof. The Board of Control of the City of Wilmington Reserves the Right to Accept the Lowest and Best Bid, Reject Any and All Bids, and to Waive Any Irregularities in Bids.
