The project includes coarse screening, influent pumping, grit removal, primary and secondary treatment, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, ultraviolet advanced oxidation, disinfection systems, groundwater recharge facilities, and off-site water and sewer improvements. Initial treatment capacity is planned at up to eight million gallons per day. Preliminary studies and design are expected to begin later in 2026, with construction scheduled for 2028.
