Repair and restoration of the existing Fire Station 1 Tower Fire Suppression System. Bonds: 0% Bid Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 100% Performance Bond. The City of Oxnard Facilities Division is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the replacement of the existing fire suppression system serving the training tower at Fire Station 1, located at 491 South K Street, Oxnard, California 93030. The Work is intended to replace the fire suppression system, improve system reliability, ensure code compliance, and provide long-term serviceability of the facility's fire protection infrastructure. Work shall include the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, testing, and commissioning of fire suppression system components that are damaged , deteriorated, obsolete, or otherwise not functioning as intended . The Contractor shall investigate existing system conditions and provide all necessary repairs and replacements required to return the system to proper operating condition. The Scope of Work includes the replacement of fire sprinkler piping, fittings, valves, sprinkler heads, gauges, hangers, supports, supervisory devices, water flow devices, alarm interface components, and associated fire protection equipment. The Contractor shall also repair any ancillary electrical , monitoring, or control components required for proper system operation.
