Description: The improvements under this Contract (FPID 450819-1-52-01) consist of milling and resurfacing SR 85/20 from Wolverine to Edge Ave & SR 397 from SR 190 to SR 85 in Okaloosa County. This project includes the removal of existing curb line along the west side of SR 85(Government Avenue) to replace the existing bike lane with new sidewalk between Howell Road and John Sims Parkway. Repairs to the existing closed collection system and resulting pavement issues are also part of the project. Expansion joints will be replaced on Bridge #570125 over Boggy Bayou. ADA improvements will consist of repairing deficient sidewalk, replacing/retrofitting non-compliant curb ramps and upgrading pedestrian signal features. Utility Work by Highway Contractor will include adjustments to manholes and valves owned by the City of Valparaiso under FPID 450819-1-52-02 and City of Niceville under FPID 450819-1-52-03.
