Installation of one direct-burial light pole, including excavation, pole setting, backfilling, electrical conduit and wiring, and fixture mounting. Question Deadline 08/17/2026 at 4:00 PM CT Project Description: Provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install one direct-burial light pole at the designated location at the NWFSC Niceville Campus, Niceville FL. Scope Includes: Verify installation location and confirm utility clearance prior to excavation. Lay out and mark the pole location. Auger a hole to the manufacturer's required depth and diameter based on the pole specifications and local code. Set the light pole plumb and at the proper elevation. Backfill the hole with suitable material (native soil, compacted aggregate, or concrete, as specified by project requirements) . Compact backfill in lifts to ensure pole stability. Install anchor hardware, if applicable. Install and secure electrical conduit and wiring stub-up (if included in the project scope). Mount the light fixture and make electrical connections (if included). Test the installation for proper alignment, structural stability, and operation. Remove excess excavated material and construction debris. Restore disturbed areas to a neat condition. Pole specifications (approximated): Embedded Round Pole, 24'-7" AG, Embedded Depth 4'-11" Cast Aluminum T4 Tenon Assembly (2 3/8" O.D. x 4" LG)
