Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Helena, Montana. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 7,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The Architecture & Engineering Division is accepting qualifications for architectural and engineering services for the demolition and new construction of a vocational building at the Montana School of the Deaf and Blind in Great Falls, Montana. This project will follow the traditional design-bid-build process. The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing Vocational building and constructing a new vocational building. The exact size of the existing to be demolished is unknown but appears to be under 8.000 SF. The location of the new building will need to be analyzed by the design team to help assist the owner in what is most functional and feasible. Due to the tight budget, the size of the new building is estimated between 6,000 and 7,000 square feet. Within the building there will be a workshop for education purposes, restrooms, and business offices. The final scope, layout, and building size will be determined during the programming phase of the project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
