Site work, paving and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Wadena, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

Construction of 4 asphalt pickleball courts. SCOPE OF WORK To construct four Pickleball Courts on an asphalt slab approximately 64wide x 124 long, and two asphalt sidewalk sections approximately 6 wide x 20 long. Topsoil will need to be removed, and any leftover topsoil will be removed from the site by the City of Wadena. A 6" Class V Base will need to be installed on the court area and the two sections of sidewalk. Asphalt will consist of 3 compacted (2 lifts). Lower lift can be SPWE mix (SPWEA230B). Surface lift needs to be a sports surface 1/2 maximum aggregate particle size (nominal Max Agg size 3/8). Surface course installed at a minimum of 1 compacted thickness (no thickness less than 1/4 compacted). No recycled products can be used in the surface lift and no more than 20% of sand is to be used. Perimeter fence is to be installed in the asphalt 2 in from the outside of the slab on all sides. Fence will be 60' wide by 120 long, and 6 high galvanized chain-link with top rail. Two 5' entrance gates are to be installed. One on the south and the other on the east side as shown in the attached photo. Provide two alternates for the fence, one to include windscreens and the other to use black vinyl coated fence and posts. Surface is to be painted and striped to meet regulation sized courts, and colors will be as shown in the attached photo. Green exterior, dark blue ends, light blue center section, and white lines. All courts are to have posts and nets installed.
