Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com The Town issued a Request for Proposals (Client Reference No. RFP 26-01) for Prime Consultant Services related to Phase 50 Water and Sewer. This geotechnical investigation was completed under Englobe's associated geotechnical services proposal (Englobe reference P2600401.000, dated April 14, 2026). Based on that proposal, the scope of the geotechnical investigation included the following: - Advancement of boreholes along the project alignment, each to a target depth of approximately 4.0 m or until refusal , with no bedrock coring included. - - In-situ Standard Penetration Testing (SPT) at regular depth intervals in general accordance with ASTM D1586, with split-spoon sampling for classification and laboratory testing. - Soil logging and classification in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS), and observation of groundwater during drilling. Laboratory testing, anticipated to include natural moisture content and grain-size analysis, with Atterberg limits on any cohesive soils encountered. - Utility locates, traffic accommodation, borehole backfilling and surface restoration, and preparation of a factual geotechnical report.
