Closing Time: 2:00 PM NT ** Please note that there has been 1 addendum issued for this project. ** Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform The scope of work includes road reconstruction, paving, and drainage upgrades across four streets in Conception Bay South: Greeleytown Road : Full reconstruction ; remove asphalt, granulars, and subgrade as indicated; install new storm sewer, tie into the existing watermain, and place new curb and gutter both sides with concrete sidewalk one side. Includes asphalt speed humps, base course asphalt (surface course in a subsequent season), and a new storm outfall to Route 60 with concrete headwall. Frog Pond Road : Mill and patch as indicated, raise manholes and adjust valves to finished grade, place surface course asphalt overlay, shoulder, and reinstate landscaping. Dunns Hill Road: Full reconstruction of the intersection with Route 60; remove asphalt and subgrade as indicated, install new curb and gutter, concrete splitter island with mountable curb, new storm sewer with manholes as shown, relocate the fire hydrant, place base and surface course asphalt, and install new signage as per drawings. General items across all streets: locate and protect existing utilities, maintain traffic control (minimum one lane on Route 60 at all times), raise manholes and adjust valves as indicated, cold plane and tack coat at asphalt joints, reinstate topsoil and sod , and provide the specified warranty on TI roadway work The Contractor shall also perform the work described in the letter report titled 'Groundwater Monitoring Program and Infrastructure Recommendations, Frog Pond Road, Conception Bay South , NL' (Stantec File No. 121417938), prepared by Stantec Consulting Ltd. and dated July 24, 2025, included in the Appendices (attached separately) and forming part of the Contract Documents. This work is not within the scope of Englobe Corp.'s design services and is not covered by Englobe Corp.'s seal on this Specification. The Contractor shall refer directly to the Appendices for all requirements related to this work.
