Drilling and testing of a deep exploratory boring and subsequent monitor well construction. GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Northwest Florida Water Management District (DISTRICT) is seeking bids from qualified water well drilling CONTRACTOR(s) for the construction and testing of one (1) Floridan aquifer monitoring well, one ( 1) intermediate aquifer monitoring well, and one (1) surficial aquifer monitoring well. The wells will be constructed at a site in southern Bay County, within the St. Andrews State Park (Figure 1 ). An exploration boring will be drilled and aquifer water quality tested to a depth of approximately 900 feet below land surface (bls). Geophysical logging will be performed at designated stages of the project. A specific capacity test lasting up to a minimum of 48 hours will be performed on the Floridan aquifer monitoring well. Work must be scheduled to accomplish both drilling and testing activities in a single mobilization. It is anticipated that the proposed work will take approximately three (3) months to complete.
