Site work for a water / sewer project in Danvers, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project State Hospital Control Valve Contract. Installation of a new prefabricated control valve vault, metering manhole, isolation valves, primary and secondary power service, controls and radio antenna. Furnish and install a pre-fabricated concrete control valve vault, including 14" electronic solenoid control valve, pipes and appurtenances, instrumentation, wiring and conduit, associated electrical equipment, and all other accessories inside the pre-fabricated vault. 2. Install isolation valves (including insertion valve) prior to vault installation, including coordination of water outages and isolation of the State Hospital Water Storage Tank with the Danvers Water & Sewer Division and Danvers Fire Department. 3. Earthwork and sitework associated with setting of the control valve vault, insertion valve, isolation valves , buried electrical duct bank, water main, and all other design scope. 4. Installation site work includes the abandonment of approximately 50 linear feet of existing 16-inch water main, the installation of approximately 65 linear feet of 14-, 16- and 20-inch ductile iron pipe, new gate valves, a new 18-inch insertion valve, new hydrant, and an above grade sampling station. 5. Demolition of an existing altitude valve vault. 6. Electrical work includes installing concrete encased primary power duct banks, pad for transformer, pad-mounted electrical cabinet, and concrete encased duct bank between control valve vault, electrical cabinet, and pole mounted antenna. 7. Clearing, grubbing, and earthwork associated with installation of the concrete encased primary and secondary power duct banks. 8. Surface restoration includes installing protective fencing around the control valve vault, site grading, repair of stone pathway, and loaming and seeding.
