Interested Trade Contractors are sought for the following categories of work, at the estimated values indicated: Elevators $220,000 The Estimated Total Construction Cost for the project is $100,928,707. The Central Elementary School project design calls for a new approximately 108,000 gsf elementary school serving approximately 510 students in Pre-K through Grade 2. The new school will be located on the existing Central Elementary School campus at 107 Central Street in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The project includes construction of a new school building, associated site improvements, athletic fields, parking, and supporting infrastructure. The construction delivery method is Construction Manager at Risk (CM at Risk) in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149A. Gilbane Building Company was selected as the Construction Manager and has been an instrumental partner in developing construction logistics and phasing for the project. The new Central Elementary School will be constructed while the existing school remains operational, allowing students and staff to continue occupying the current building throughout the entirety of construction. Extensive site preparation, including a preload program to address site settlement, is being completed in advance of building construction. Existing access to the school will be maintained throughout construction, with carefully coordinated traffic management, pedestrian safety measures, and phased construction activities implemented to minimize disruptions to school operations. Following completion and occupancy of the new school, the existing building will be demolished, and the remaining site improvements and athletic fields will be completed.
