Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Fayetteville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Fayette County is soliciting Bids from Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) prequalified Contractors experienced with installation of drainage structures, storm drainpipes, grading, and paving. This project is identified in and funded with the Fayette County 2017 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) program for Stormwater Infrastructure Improvements. The work at each of the three project locations will be performed under one contract. Locations are near 115 Brandon Mill Circle, 105 Brandon Mill Circle, and 115/120 Heritage Way, all within the Brandon Mill Subdivision in Fayette County. The work near 105 Brandon Mill Circle consists of, but may not be limited to, removing the catch basin tops and existing deteriorated single 18-inch Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) under the road and replacing it with 18-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP), paving the catch basin inverts, grouting around all pipes within the catch basins, constructing new catch basin tops, asphalt paving, and utility coordinator and/or relocation. Replace existing deteriorating metal pipe culvert with a reinforced concrete pipe-arch culvert.
