The project is located on TMWA property. Access is via exit 3 off I-80 west, turn left onto S Verdi Rd, turn right onto Crystal Park Rd, turn left onto Quilici Ranch Rd, follow this road about 1.6 miles. There is public parking in a dirt lot marked as Tahoe Pyramid Trailhead. Access through TMWA gates will need to be coordinated with the TMWA Project Representative. Project replaces existing wooden flume with precast concrete channel and new wood flume; installs 2 new culverts and land bridge over existing canal; modifies existing forebay with new isolation gates, weir gate, and replaces radial gate. This project will be eligible for certain Federal Tax Incentives, therefore subject to but not limited to Domestic Content, Foreign Entity of Concern (FEOC) Material Assistance Requirements, and Davis Bacon wages. The Engineer's estimate is: $10,400,000.00 Truckee Meadows Water Authority ( TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the replacement of the existing wooden flume with precast concrete channel and new wood flume; install 2 new culverts and land bridge over existing canal; modifies existing forebay with new isolation gates, weir gate, and replaces radial gate.
