Reference Number 0000432232 The City of Georgetown is seeking bids from qualified and licensed general contractors to provide resurfacing and construction services at the new municipal complex located at 2520 Highmarket Street. Patch all bare parking lot areas with 2-in HMA Type B. Clean asphalt thoroughly, squeegee, apply first coat spray, apply second coat spray of asphalt emulsion fortified with additive for accelerated drying times and skid resistance. Coordinate with City Staff for parking arrangements. Coordinate work with the City's landscape contractor. Apply new parking space lines (white) to existing and new layouts using fast-drying surface paint. Refer to the site plan for parking lot improvements. A site visit is highly recommended; please contact the Public Works Department to schedule a site visit. In an amount equal to or at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall be required for all competitive bidding for construction contracts exceeding $100,000. Bid security shall be a legitimate bid bond provided by a surety company authorized to do business in South Carolina or the equivalent in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or money order.
