Noble Solar LLC ("Noble Solar") filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada ("Commission") an application, designated as Docket No. 20-11007, under the provisions of the Utility Environmental Protection Act, for a permit to construct the Purple Sage Energy Center Project consisting of an up to 400 megawatt ("MW") photovoltaic solar electric generating facility, a 400 MW battery energy storage system, a 230 kilovolt substation and generation-tie line to interconnect with the Trout Canyon Substation, and associated facilities to be located on approximately 4,462 acres of federally-managed land in Clark County, Nevada.
