The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners (County) is seeking competitive sealed proposals from Professional Engineering firms for a major infrastructure initiative by decommissioning the Van Dyke Wastewater Treatment Facility and replacing it with a master pump station that will convey wastewater to the Northwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility and support construction under the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) delivery method for a five (5) year term. Hillsborough County Water Resources Department is undertaking a major infrastructure initiative to enhance system reliability and environmental protection by decommissioning the Van Dyke Wastewater Treatment Facility and replacing it with a master pump station that will convey wastewater to the Northwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility. The Facility treats approximately 1.2 million gallons per day (MGD) annually and the permitted capacity is 1.7 MGD annual average daily flow (AADF). This multiyear phased project includes demolition of obsolete ponds and structures, removal of underground infrastructure, construction of a new master pump station and reclaimed water booster pump station , installation of wastewater force mains, potable water main, reclaimed water main , and roadway restoration to return all impacted areas to their original conditions. To deliver this work, the County is seeking an experienced and qualified Professional Engineering Firm to provide design services and support construction under the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) delivery method.
