Pre-construction and comprehensive construction management services including planning, procurement planning, and execution of structural remediation works. he University of Lethbridge is seeking a qualified construction manager (proponent) to provide pre- construction & comprehensive construction management services for University Hall Structural Rehabilitation. This work includes services associated with planning, procurement planning, and execution of works related to Phase 1 Structural Remediation which is our immediate priority. [ NB1.1 ] Additionally, the construction manager will participate in strategic planning and pre- construction services related to subsequent structural rehabilitation works . These additional works, and our future priority for University Hall would be a comprehensive renovation of the entire facility named the Destination Project Phase II ( DPII) . The primary objective of this phase is to facilitate reinforcement of the existing blade walls. The work is complex and requires extensive coordination among structural, mechanical, civil, and architectural disciplines. The anticipated scope includes, but is not limited to: Demolition and removal of the existing concrete slab and associated site improvements; Investigation, disconnection, protection, temporary support, relocation, and/or rerouting of existing underground mechanical services, including sanitary, storm , and fire protection systems currently located within an underground service tunnel; Civil and site servicing modifications; Installation of new foundation piles and associated structural supports; Construction of a new structural slab system ; Rehabilitation and improvement of existing soffit conditions; Temporary works, protection systems, and measures required to maintain safe operations of adjacent occupied facilities.
