Scope of Work: 1. Carefully remove and dispose of existing horizontal LAP siding, smart trims, and flashings. 2. Remove and dispose of existing building paper. Leave minimum 6 around all edges to allow for proper overlap of new. 3. Ensure wall is free of any nails; surface is clean and dry. 4. Any areas of wet rotted sheeting exposed are to be identified and brought forward to Project Manager to provide direction. 5. Install new building house wrap (Dupont, Tyvek or equivalent.) to complete exterior, ensure minimum 6 overlap achieved at all connections points. 6. Tape all joints using construction grade sheeting tuck tape or equivalent. 7. Install new White flashings as per Alberta Building code flashing guidelines. 8. Install new White LP Smart siding trims and LP Smart Siding premade 4 outside corners to match existing finish, following manufacturers detailed instructions included. 9. Install new James Hardi Cedarmill Lap Siding 6 exposure (colour to be determined.) following manufactures detailed instructions included. 10. Ensure work area is left clean and free of any construction debris upon completion. Note: Sunny South Lodge is a fully occupied SL3/SL4 seniors care facility, extra care is to be used to ensure work area is clearly barricaded off. No smoking on premises. No loud or unsuitable music. Limited onsite rear parking available. (Max 2 vehicles) Materials lay down area will be made available. No onsite washroom will be available, contractor to supply own facilities. Onsite power is available for contractors construction tool use only. (Air compressors, saws, etc.) Green Acres Foundation assumes no responsibility for contractors materials; site security fencing is advised.
