Site work for a water / sewer project in Warrenton, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The major construction elements for this project (located behind the Hampton Inn) include, but are not limited to, erosion and settlement controls; site grading and incidentals , such as bypass pumping; landscaping, planting, seeding, and mulching; fence restoration; and preparing as-built of final pond installation and additional features, including plantings. See, ATTACHMENT 1. In addition to the major work elements listed above, the Contractor's rules and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to Contractor shall furnish all personnel , materials, equipment, services, and facilities necessary to complete the work specified herein. Contractor shall submit weekly schedules on or before 4:30 pm every Thursday. Time is of the essence. The Contractor shall meet substantial completion within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the date of the Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion shall be defined as the project being finished, having passed all inspections. The Town of Warrenton is accepting bids from qualified, Class A contractors to provide construction services to retrofit the existing stormwater management pond (Pond C). This will include the excavation of the existing pond bottom and creation of settling basin, and other details shown on the attached plans.
