Re-construction of existing paved surface area for Pinewood Elementary School as a stipulated bid price to include the full scope of work identified in the Contract Documents/Drawings and all items generally described as follows: Pinewood Elementary School - Pavement Replacement Project - Contract Work: Core Project Work: Removal and offsite disposal of up to approximately 750m2 of existing asphalt surface 50mm to 75mm thick and related saw cutting; Removal and offsite disposal of up to approximately 380m3 waste excavation and related site grading (for drainage to low point); Remove and dispose of existing flag, tether and basket ball poles (5 total); Supply and install up to approximately 20m3 of structural fill, if necessary, and related waste material, if unsuitable or weak native soil materials are encountered; Approximately 840 m2 of subgrade preparation; Supply and installation of approximately 840m2 of 20mm minus granular base material (100mm thickness); Supply and installation of approximately 840m2 of 75mm minus granular subbase material (300mm thickness); Supply and installation of approximately 750m2 of asphalt (50mm minimum thickness); Supply and install approximately 90 m2 of topsoil around disturbed grass areas and grass seeding; Materials Testing (compaction testing for subgrade, subbase, base and asphalt) and asphalt coring; Proof Roll using full water truck on entire subgrade, to be witnessed by the project engineer; Supply and install two basketball hoop concrete bases and install two SD5 supplied basketball hoops; Restoration of any disturbed landscaping or surface to pre-construction condition; and Construction fencing and barricades. The Owner is requesting a price for optional work (to be awarded if budget permits) an additional area to be graded, excavated, gravelled and pavement complete with catch basin and drywell, as follows: Removal and offsite disposal of up to approximately 540m2 of existing asphalt surface 50mm to 75mm thick and related saw cutting; Removal and offsite disposal of up to approximately 270m3 waste excavation and related site grading (for drainage to low point); Supply and install up to approximately 10m3 of structural fill, if necessary, and related waste material, if unsuitable or weak native soil materials are encountered; Approximately 590m2 of subgrade preparation; Supply and Install new drywell (at created low point) solid frame and cover; Remove and dispose of existing catchbasin (but reuse frame and cover for new catchbasin); Supply and installation of approximately 590m2 of 20mm minus granular base material (100mm thickness); Supply and installation of approximately 590m2 of 75mm minus granular subbase material (300mm thickness); Supply and installation of approximately 540m2 of asphalt (50mm minimum thickness); Supply and install approximately 50 m2 of topsoil around disturbed grass areas and grass seeding; Materials Testing (compaction testing for subgrade, subbase, base and asphalt) and asphalt coring; Proof Roll using full water truck on entire subgrade, to be witnessed by the project engineer; and Restoration of any disturbed landscaping or surface to pre-construction condition.
