Renovation of a museum in Belmont, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
In general, the work consists of: a comprehensive site and building maintenance and improvement project at the First Capitol Historic Site in Belmont. The Council House and Court House buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and therefore the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties apply. Historic materials that are intact and/or repairable will be maintained and preserved in place. Materials that are deteriorated beyond repair will be replicated. Other buildings and features on the site are not historically significant and will be removed to allow for new structures and features that better suit the site's use as an educational facility. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Question Deadline 09/19/2026 If a project does not include any mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection divisions of work, bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architects/Engineer's attention at least ten (10) days before GPC bid opening. Prompt clarification will be supplied to all bidders of record by addendum.
