Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,670-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; pre-engineered storage facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.

Within the Base Bid, the General Contractor constructs a pre engineered metal building system erected upon a shallow foundation system and concrete slab on grade of approximately 844 square feet. Exterior walls are typical metal wall panels. Roofing is a machine seamed, standing seam metal system. Mechanical distribution delivers heated surfaces via suspended radiant heaters. Electrical service consists of a 100 amp Main Distribution Panel with 208Y/120 Volt, Single Phase, Three Wire distribution. Sitework includes drives and parking. Contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades and that North Carolina General Statute 87 will be observed in receiving and awarding contracts. General Contractors must have general license classification for Building Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 30 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Bids shall be made only on the BID/ACEPTANCE form provided herein with all blank spaces for bids properly filled in and all signatures properly executed. Furnish and install centrifugal exhaust fans, as specified herein, of sizes and capacities scheduled and in locations shown on drawings. Clearly and concisely pose the issue or item of concern, and indicate the nature of interpretation or clarification needed. Reference the context and propose solutions to maintain work progress. Format RFIs as a narrative, and limit content to a single trade and construction activity. Furnish photographs of prevailing conditions. Responses are issued within seven days in the form of directives, requests for consultant input or requests for additional information.
