Reconstruction of N Lakeshore Drive from SH 66 to Masters Boulevard including roadway concrete pavement, alley/driveway concrete pavement, sidewalk, storm drain installation, sanitary sewer replacement, parkway landscaping, and traffic signal modifications. Proposer must submit, with their Bid, a Cashier's check, Certified check or a Bid Bond from an approved surety company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and guarantee forms, if required, within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The successful proposer must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City. A ten percent (10%) Maintenance Bond (2-year) is required for this project The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Rockwall may require, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to select the bid best suited to the City of Rockwall's best interest. The successful contractor must have completed a minimum of five (5) similar projects within the last ten (10) years.
