Installation of guardrails along Price Street in accordance with ODOT specifications. Note: Included in the project/bid documents is the list of roads to be paved in detail. Price Steet - 2 - 1,000 feet sections of guardrail removed and new installed on Price Street at the causeway. Total of 2,000 feet. 1. 2,000 feet of guardrail and post removed. 2. 2,000 feet of guardrail, type MGS. 3. 80-9 foot guardrail post. 4. 2 - anchor assembly, type E. 5. 2 - anchor assembly, type T. 6. Reshaping berm - 2,000 feet. 7. Traffic control. 8. Mobilization. OPWC grant agreement and Stark County Engineers construction cost estimate attached. Maintaining Traffic: The Contractor shall maintain traffic at all times on the project in accordance with the attached traffic control plan sheets, and as described below. In addition to the general requirements, all traffic control devices necessary to maintain and protect traffic and the work zone shall be furnished, erected, maintained, and removed by the Contractor in conformance with the current revision of the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. All signs required to be installed by the Contractor shall be erected on their own posts. The contractor shall not use any existing signpost to mount a traffic control sign. All signs shall remain covered until 7 days prior to paving operation begins. The Contractor shall take notice, devices using other than Type "G" or Type "H" sheeting are not acceptable. The Contractor shall maintain the required traffic control devices for a maximum of twenty-one (21) days following the completion of the paving of the wearing surface. The Contractor shall no remove any traffic control devices prior to the completion of this work. Payment for all labor, equipment, and materials shall be included in the lump sum contract price, unless separately itemized in the plans. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, Certified Check required.
