Provide replacement of existing mini split HVAC units for the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) facility. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services necessary to complete the replacement work. The project is construction in nature with an estimated value of less than $75,000. Refer to the attachments for site visit requirements and quotation submission instructions. Due to the urgency of the requirement, only one site visit will be conducted, and the response period will not be extended. Location: USDA ARS facility, Tallahassee, Florida.The magnitude of construction is less than $75,000. The Contractor shall begin performance within 14 calendar days and complete it within 45 calendar days. Provide all parts, labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to install two (2) new mini split HVAC units in Trailer 2 and two (2) new mini split units in Trailer 3 to include electrical power installation for the units and system startup and testing to ensure a fully functional system. Four outdoor 3 ton units with a 2 ton and 1/2 ton indoor unit unit for each. Existing HVAC systems will remain and be decommissioned by the contractor to include refrigerant removal and disconnection from the electrical supply.
