Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The SBE goal for this project is 17.48% The MBE goal for this project is 7.77% . The City of Waterbury, Department of Engineering, is seeking Proposals from qualified Proposers for Esther Ave & Crown Street Drainage Improvements as detailed and described in the Request for Proposal Documents. Drainage improvements at the intersection of Esther Ave and Crown Street, including excavation, utility work, and site restoration. This project will take place at 2 separate locations. Location #1 at Crown Street: this will include installing 1 catch basin and 145 L.F. of 12" HDPE. The purpose of this project is to provide a drainage system for future wall drains to connect to and prevent possible icing on the sidewalk. Location #2 at Esther Avenue: this project will include installing 1 catch basin and 290 L.F. of 12" HDPE including a 4" perorated PVC, which will run along-side the 12" HDPE. This will act as a curtain drain. The leader/footing drains from 5 houses will connect to the new pipe. This will eliminate icing from forming on the road.
