Site work and renovation of a military facility in Salina, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The required work includes the principal features listed below. The outline of principal features does not limit the responsibility of the Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials and transportation to result in a complete, usable facility 1. All drains are assumed functional. It is the contractor's responsibility to verify the condition of drains and notify the Gov't QA or Project Manager of any nonfunctional drains prior to starting work. 2. All new work shall meet current Mechanical, Electric and Industrial Standards. 3. It is the contractor's responsibility to verify site conditions, measurements, associated equipment/materials and quantities including revisions to the Scope of Work. 4. PPE must be worn at all times by personnel on site, including hard hats, steel toed work shoes, gloves or other as required for the task being performed. All site personnel will wear identification badges and all vehicles/equipment must be properly marked with contractor's identification. 5. Work area(s) will be clean and all lights turned off at the end of each work day. 6. Provide O&M manuals, specifications and prints for all new equipment to the Project Managers at project completion 7. Contractor will maintain a project board with updated/maintained record drawings as built hot work permits, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and emergency notification numbers. 8. Replacement components shall be sized to match existing component sizes. 9. All new fire alarm systems shall match the most current software version and hardware installed on Fort Riley. 10. All chillers shall be Carrier sized to the appropriate building occupancy 11. All boilers shall be Lochinvar sized to the appropriate building occupancy Installation of an emergency generator, including mechanical and electrical work.
