Anza Stormwater Pump Station SCADA Upgrade Project Project Description: At the present time, there is no Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) digital communication between the Calera Creek Water Recycling Plant (CCWRP) and the Anza Stormwater Pump Station. The purpose of this project is to install a VHF radio link and control panel at the pump station in order to establish a line of communication and be able to convey real time data information back to CCWRP using the SCADA system. The real time data such as flow information is used at CCWRP by the City's operation and collection staff. The data is crucial during a storm event. The Anza Pump Station is located due west of Anza Drive, west of Highway 1 and next to the beach. This pump station also serves as a public restroom. Anza pump station contains four pumps: three with approximate capacities of 31,000 GPM and a fourth pump which is not automated. The approximate wet well for the Anza Pump Station is 62,000 gallons. This pump station receives stormwater from the northern half of the West Linda Mar neighborhood and runoff from the Fassler Ridge hillside areas. The CCWRP currently uses an Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC platform and all PLC/HMI Visualization shall conform to Pacifica SCADA Design Standards. The Anza Pump Station shall be visited to record the required installation details and perform a cellular radio survey to identify current signal quality for various carriers (Four of the City's pump stations are run on Verizon and one is run on T-Mobile due to a service gap). New control enclosures sufficient to withstand outdoor, corrosive environments will be provided. . Work shall be completed within 60 Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run. The City Council of the City of Pacifica reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or bids, should it deem this necessary for the public good, waive any irregularities in any bids and its determination as to which bid is the lowest responsible bid and it may also reject the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or unfaithful in any former contract with the City of Pacifica for the best interest of the City shall be final. The City shall have SIXTY (60) calendar days from and after the opening of the bids within which to make its determination.
