TIMELINE: As of October 7, 2026, the Pacifica School District entered into a contract with a general contractor to construct a workforce housing development. Construction is currently underway. The 16-month contract runs from May 2026 through August 2027 and includes the development of 45 housing units, three amenity buildings, and the rehabilitation of the existing sports field at the former Oddstad Elementary School site. The contract covers only Phase One of the project. If Phase Two moves forward, an additional 25 housing units would be built, bringing the total development to the district's original goal of 70 workforce housing units. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
