The objective is to achieve a safe, code-compliant, utility-coordinated, and manufacturer-approved installation with minimal operational disruption, and to deliver commissioned chargers that are fully integrated with existing facilities and fleet operations. Electrical : load calculations; feeder sizing; fault current and coordination; protective devices; grounding and bonding; arc-flash labeling; transient protection ; telecom/data ; and integration with ChargePoint specifications. o Civil/structural : foundations, pads, bollards, seismic requirements, and structural support. Communications and networking: secure wired data connectivity per OEM requirements; cellular fallback if applicable; and integration with Owner network policy, including VLANs and cybersecurity controls. Utility coordination: coordinate with the local utility for service upgrades, metering, transformer sizing and location, service entrance requirements, and energization timeline . Permitting: obtain all applicable permits, including electrical , building, fire, right-of-way, and utility permits; prepare plan sets and calculations for the Authority Having Jurisdiction. INSTALLATION Electrical: conduit and cable routing; terminations; panelboard/switchgear additions; UPS/surge protection; labeling; and commissioning-ready installation. Dispenser/cabinet installation : mounting and anchoring per OEM requirements; cable management systems; penetrations; bollards; and protective barriers. o Networking: install fiber/copper cabling, switches, and enclosures; validate connectivity, latency, and throughput. Integration: set up ChargePoint components per OEM procedures ; confirm firmware readiness; and complete system configuration in coordination with the Town TESTING, COMMISSIONING AND TRAINING Pre-functional tests: insulation resistance tests, torque checks, polarity, ground tests, breaker settings, and system interlocks. Functional tests: run test charges with buses or simulated loads; verify 200 kW delivery capability as designed; complete error logging and remediation. o OEM commissioning: coordinate with ChargePoint for certification/activation; ensure warranty compliance and documentation. o Training: operations and maintenance training for Town staff; safety procedures; network management basics; troubleshooting; and emergency shutdown. o Deliverables: as-built drawings in PDF format, O &M manuals, spare parts list, test reports, commissioning certificates, and warranty information.
