Renovation of an educational facility in Anastasia Is, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Remove and replace existing exterior doors at three locations including primary entrance double doors at Pope Hall, exterior doors at Coleman Center, and aluminum storefront systems at Memorial Hall. This project consists of removal and replacement of two (2) existing exterior double doors in Pope Hall, building #67, one (1) existing exterior door and one (1) existing exterior double door in Coleman Center, building #13, and two (2) existing storefront systems in Memorial Hall, building #8. The intent is to improve accessibility, energy efficiency, and security while maintaining the architectural character and material compatibility of each existing building. The new doors/storefronts will match the existing building materials and colors, integrate with FSDB security systems, and will comply with current American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessibility standards, Florida Building Code (2023), State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF 2014), and FSDB design guidelines. Site locations, plans and necessary architectural drawings will be distributed at the Mandatory Site Visit. Pope Hall, Building #67 Two (2) exterior double doors to be replaced - 67A and 67D. Remove existing double door assemblies and associated hardware. Existing frames to remain. Provide and install new aluminum storefront door systems with insulated glazing, heavy-duty hinges, closers, weather-stripping, thresholds, single lever handle and ADA-compliant hardware, per FSDB specifications. Integrate new electronic access control hardware in coordination with FSDB security systems. Seal all perimeters with silicone-based sealant to ensure a watertight installation. Repaint or repair surrounding finishes as necessary to ensure complete and professional installation. Coleman Center, Building #13- One (1) exterior door to be replaced - 13B One (1) exterior double door to be replaced - 13A. Remove existing door and double door assemblies and associated hardware. Existing frames need to be removed and replaced. Prepare rough openings as required to receive new storefront system. Provide and install new aluminum storefront door systems with insulated glazing, heavy-duty hinges, closers, weather-stripping, thresholds, single lever handle and ADA-compliant hardware, per FSDB specifications. Integrate new electronic access control hardware in coordination with FSDB security systems. Ensure ADA-compliant clearances, door pressure, and threshold height. Provide paint finish to match existing adjacent facade materials to ensure complete and professional installation. Memorial Hall, Building #8 - Two (2) existing storefront systems to be replaced - 8A and 8K. Remove the two (2) storefront systems, including all aluminum framing, glazing, doors, thresholds, and associated trim. Provide and install two (2) new aluminum storefront systems with thermally broken framing, one-inch (1") insulated glazing units, and energy-efficient low-E glass. Construct a new storefront enclosure around the existing elevator shaft on the east side of the building, to match the new system design, ensuring ADA accessibility and compliance with life safety code. Clean, restore and replace finishes in areas impacted by construction, including: Flooring and resilient base Suspended ceiling systems LED lighting fixtures Surrounding walls and trims (repaint and finish) Coordinate all electrical and low-voltage work associated with lighting, automatic door operators, single handle, and access control systems. Integrate new electronic access control hardware in coordination with FSDB security systems. Provide weatherproofing and sealant work around all storefront assemblies to ensure watertight and energy-efficient installation .
